A lifelong passion for cars, built into every repair
Eric Sorensen, owner of SorenSpeed, has been building and fixing things for as long as he can remember. Some of his earliest memories are in the garage with his dad, building racing go-karts and learning how things worked. That hands-on curiosity quickly grew into a passion for anything mechanical, especially quads and performance vehicles.
As he got older, that passion only got stronger. Eric attended WyoTech, an automotive trade school, where he deepened his understanding of automotive mechanics and performance. After graduating, he spent years working in the field, sharpening his skills and gaining real-world experience before launching his own shop, SorenSpeed.
Today, SorenSpeed focuses on performance repair and tuning, helping drivers get more power, reliability, and confidence out of their vehicles. Eric takes pride in doing the job right and treating every car like it’s his own.
At heart, Eric is a true enthusiast. From the sound of a well-tuned engine to the details that make a car unique, he loves everything about automotive culture—especially Japanese performance cars. He’s always ready for a challenge and enjoys pushing machines to perform at their best.
